Dive Site Description

Abbey Too Is a local favorite due to its dual facing ledges and the spur an groove coral formations on the East side of the reef. To the West there is a small reef that drops off into about 45 feet of water which is a good place to look for turtles. The size of Abby to reef is substantial. You can dive on this reef five or six times without seeing the same thing twice. There is also the deep side and deep reefs that are to the east. This part of the reef is typically in about 80 to 90 feet of water and is an excellent spot to look for large creatures.

Our Local Reefs

Our third reef system is part of the third largest barrier reef in the world. The system runs from Miami all the way up through Palm Beach with small breaks in between the reefs. The majority of the third reef systems profile is 45 feet on the top dropping to 60 to 65 feet on the west facing side and 80 to 100+ feet on the east facing side.

Resident Marine Life

On all our main reef locations there is an abundance of marine life. Large schools of tropical fish including butterflyfish, surgeonfish, and parrotfish. We also have schools of large fish including jack’s, groupers, snapper, and all kinds of rays. If you look carefully at the rocks, you can also spot lobsters, Crabs and all kinds of spotted and Moray eels. Let us also not forget the turtles, the spotted eagle rays, nurse sharks and reef sharks on occasion. The best way to dive is with a guide. We know all the fish by name.
